Installation and care

Check aquarium rim thickness, clearance and water level before ordering. Prime the filter with aquarium water as directed before powering it on; never operate the pump dry. Unplug before cleaning. Rinse reusable filter media gently in removed aquarium water to help preserve beneficial bacteria. Consider an intake guard for shrimp and fry.
