Position the lamp over one end of the enclosure to create a warm basking zone while allowing access to a cooler area. Use a thermometer to verify the temperature is appropriate for your species.

Important: Never use a bulb whose wattage exceeds the fixture rating. Do not place the hot lamp directly over glass or plexiglass, and prevent animal contact with the bulb.
